Bitsound MCP

Bitsound has a remote MCP server: Streamable HTTP (stateless, JSON), OAuth 2.1 with PKCE S256 and Dynamic Client Registration.

What you can do with it

Without sign-in

Search the catalog, releases and tracks with lyrics, stories and credits, artists, new releases.

  • Find trance albums under 10 EUR.
  • What is the story behind Déjà Vu by The Visitors?

As a fan

Read and edit your collection, playlists and wishlist, download links for music you bought.

  • Make a playlist from my collection with all electronic tracks.
  • Give me the download link for the album I bought last.

With credit

Check your credit balance, prepare a purchase, fill, view or empty the cart. Confirmation always happens in the browser, the AI never pays.

  • Put the newest album by The Visitors into my cart and tell me what it costs.
  • Is my credit enough for everything on my wishlist?

As an artist

Edit releases, lyrics, stories, credits and prices, stats, read and answer comments, send free access by email.

  • Which of my releases had the most full listens in the last 30 days?
  • Add the lyrics from this file to track 3 of Goldilocks.

Connect

Claude Code

Then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose bitsound and Authenticate. Sign-in and consent happen in the browser.

Scopes and security

  • No tool buys or pays. purchase_prepare only returns prices and links or fills the cart, the purchase happens after confirming in the browser.
  • Access token 1 hour, refresh token 30 days (sliding, rotated). A reused refresh token ends the connection.
  • Every connection is listed under Settings > Signed-in devices as MCP: client and can be disconnected there.
  • Every writing tool is recorded in the audit log with source MCP and the client name. Tools of missing scopes are not listed at all.
