Afterlife

Kicking it in the afterlife
In the astral
Dreaming of being back on Earth
Where the grass grows
What a drag
Though
If this is life after death
It was all a hoax
The whole thing
Even the belief in God and ghosts
In my spirit form
I'm just wandering and loitering
And haunting and watching
The souls from Earth are joining in
I'm an oracle now
And the other souls are following
The humans ask me for a message
I'm not calling in
I'm not trying to hurt their feelings
'cause I know how much they care
But you spend your whole life
Living to die
And die and end up nowhere
As I wander through the universe
My human mind
Is feeling worse
No answers
No conclusion
Nothing's even that confusing
There's no bliss
There's no enlightenment
No mission or assignment
I'm not feeling any emotion
I'm just pure awareness
It's peaceful but
It still seems like a burden
So I pack up
And I'm heading back to Earth and
I don't care about my karma
It was meaningless to learn
In my next life
I'm going to break every rule
And not be concerned
Because there's no afterlife
